Cancellation & Refund Policy

Irish Bass Guide – Guided Fishing Sessions

Booking & Deposits
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session date. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the session, prior to commencement.

Client Cancellations

  • More than 7 days’ notice: Deposit may be transferred to a future session (subject to availability) No cash refunds are provided for client cancellations.

  • Less than 7 days’ notice: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice or non-attendance: Deposit is forfeited.

Client Rescheduling
One reschedule is permitted with at least 7 days’ notice. Further reschedule requests may be treated as a cancellation.

Weather & Safety Cancellations (Guide Decision)
If a session is cancelled by Irish Bass Guide due to unsafe weather, sea conditions, access restrictions, or other safety concerns, the client will be offered either:

  • A full refund of the deposit, or

  • A rescheduled session at no additional cost

Safety decisions are final.

Early Termination of Session
No refunds will be issued if a session ends early due to:

  • Client fatigue, discomfort, or choice

  • Failure to follow safety instructions

  • Unsafe or inappropriate behaviour

Gift Vouchers
• Valid for 12 months from date of issue
• Issued to a named recipient only
• Non-transferable and non-resaleable
• Non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash
• Redeemable against guided fishing sessions only
• Subject to weather and availability
• Irish Bass Guide reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions where conditions require

Force Majeure
Irish Bass Guide is not liable for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control. Rescheduling will be offered where possible.

Acceptance
By booking a session and paying a deposit, clients confirm they have read and accepted this policy.
